Remember when we took to the sea? We left our chains and responsibilities to drift upon the breeze. We were full of adventure. Why did we leave? To come back, I guess. So we'd know what we left behind. I'm glad that you were with me in those times of restless deeds. I'll never forget the desires we had out on the sea. Please, don't forget our adventures and don't forget me. I can't let go of our shared voyage, nor will I, for it means too much to me.
Remember when the earth grew cold? We took to hiding in our homes. Why did we hide from the changing seasons? I suppose we were afraid for so many reasons. I'm thankful you were there with me, through all the change, you stuck with me, even as I grew old and strange. Always remember our strife in the winters, and always remember me. I'll never want to let go of our December retreat, nor will I, for it's too much a part of me.

The Lord looks from heaven; He sees the sons of men. From the place of His dwelling He looks on all the inhabitants of the earth; He fashions their hearts individually; He considers all their works. - Psalm 33: 13-15
