"Resonance"

The dawn is breaking, cold and clear,
Wisdom whispers in my ear.
The gentle sun and geese in flight,
The glorious day and hopeful light.
The growing day has first begun
With the vibrant rays of the shining sun;
Watch it as the light transforms
The empty trees and lifeless forms.
I stand in awe of this breathtaking scene,
I must have strayed into a dream
Where life is promising, hopeful and new;
There is nothing I cannot do.
There is nowhere I would rather be
Than here: to wait, to watch and see
The grand old sun, bright and joyful,
And the hopeful dawn, ever loyal.
